Clinical History:
Patient complains of:
- A cracking sound (crepitus) was heard in the knee while climbing stairs, followed by the onset of pain.
- There is now difficulty with ambulation due to pain.
- The knee is swollen (edematous).
- Pain is also experienced upon knee flexion.
Assessment:
Patient presents with acute knee pain, associated with crepitus, impaired ambulation, edema, and pain upon flexion.
